This tie down is a great addition to your AE86. It’s cnc machined from 6061 aluminum for light weight and great strength. It features an adjustable two piece design that makes for a perfect fit on your battery. Included is all new hardware as well as foam stick on pads to protect your battery and prevent it from sliding under extreme loads. Available in raw aluminum and black anodized finishes.
This is designed as an OEM replacement bracket for USA model AE86’s battery size. Not compatible with Japanese OEM or other batteries that are smaller in size.
Here are some dimensions so you can measure to see if this will work in your non AE86 chassis.
1. Bolt hole center to center distance 230mm
2. Height from front core support bolt to top of battery 31.75mm (approx 4-8mm compression is desired)
3. Width of battery max 175mm
