JSP AE86 Hood risers serve a couple different purposes. Here’s a few:
1) Raises hood to increase hood clearance on engine swaps. Allows the use of our 5/8” subframe spacers on the Beams engine swap.
2) Allows for heat to escape when car is not moving IE: sitting in the waiting line at a track day or drift event.
3) Adds an aggressive look to the front of the car by increasing the rake and hiding a portion of the windshield wipers and cowl.
